About 2007

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?

Ran a 5K... two in fact.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Didn't make them last year, didn't make them this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Two anyones. One had a sweet little boy, one had a sweet little girl. I'm jealous!

4. Did anyone close to you die? No, was a good year there.


5. What countries did you visit? Does Vegas count? That's all the traveling I did. Oh, and San Diego.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? free time... and no guilt when I get free time!

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Mmmm honestly my memory is so awful... I don't remember a lot! Lainey's second week of school, when she got out at the carpool lane instead of me walking her in... I do remember that moment. But the date??... I don't even remember the month.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? The 5K's felt REALLY good.

9. What was your biggest failure? "Failure" sounds kinda harsh.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Just minor knee, ankle, wrist "injuries" working out. I must be getting old.

11. What was the best thing you bought? My ring is pretty cool.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Lainey's good manners. Gracie's working on it!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Though it doesn't affect me personally, Ms. Unfitney Spears. And her little sister... geez!

14. Where did most of your money go? The girls, and I have proof. I opened an account to use on things I buy for them... I'm cutting back in '08!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Oooooooh do I get THAT excited anymore?!

16. What song will always remind you of 2007? Lips of an Angel, Hey There Delilah

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? The same. Very content.

b) thinner or fatter? nip. tuck. thinner.

c) richer or poorer? I'm working more, I'd say richer. And yet I'm spending more, so poorer. About the same I guess.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Writing in my girls' journals. I really slacked this year.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Computer time.

20. How did you spend Christmas? Three Christmas with families, and Santa. Christmas overload!

21. Did you fall in love in 2007? I have 3 loves...

22. What was your favorite TV program? This would be hard. Desperate Housewives, LOST, The Office, and of course Big Brother... (back in February... yea!)

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I actually don't HATE anyone.

24. What was the best book you read? Reading Eat, Pray, Love. That's all I've started, and I'm sure I'll be trying to finish it at the end of '08.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? The Wiggles aren't quite as annoying as I once thought. A few catchy tunes. (If you can't beat em, join em.)

26. What did you want and get? New floors.

27. What did you want and not get? New floors that don't scratch.

28. What was your favorite film of this year? Did I see any? Bee Movie is all I can remember, because I saw it last.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 34?! Ouch! Dinner and margaritas, what else?!

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Less stress!

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? Same as last year... I do the best I can not to look my age...

32. What kept you sane? Tequila.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Keith bumped Tim down my list.
